Interactive Online Contests

In 2003 (Rogers Television) and again in 2007 (Skyline Marina & A-Channel Television Barrie/Toronto) moorescode was approached about creating and hosting "Interactive Online Website Contests".   In order to deploy a successful online strategy that could deliver a simple and functional experience we implemented ibrowz ® (DCRS) Dynamic Content Revision System.   To fulfill the basic requirements it was necessary to create an interactive online form that produced a database from which a winner would be selected.   Both the Rogers Television & The Skyline Marina & A-Channel Television Barrie/Toronto contests (which produced 1079 entries over the course of 27 days) were very successful.

CD/Web-Based Resumes

As employers are searching for their ideal candidates, your success in securing those opportunities depends on your ability to standout from the crowd.   Unfortunately in todays' job market a "PDF" version of your resume isn't going to cut it when canvassing for that dream job.   There are tangibles in a CD or Web-Based Application that just can't be conveyed through traditional electronic or written counterparts.

          Have you heard this before?
"Thank you for sending a resume that certainly stood out from the crowd!"
If not it's about time you have...

Web Tutorials & PDF Manuals

A Web Tutorial is one method of communicating knowledge and may be used as a part of learning.   More interactive and specific than a book or a lecture; a web tutorial teaches and supplies information to complete a certain task.

A PDF Manual is a technical communication document intended to give assistance to people using a particular product or process.   Information contained in a PDF manual typically includes: Safety instructions, Assembly instructions, Installation instructions, Maintenance instructions, Troubleshooting instructions, Product technical specifications and Warranty information.

Live Digital Audio Streaming

SHOUTcast Streaming Technology is a multiplatform digital audio streaming technology.   It allows audio content to be broadcast to and from media player software such as WINAMP & Windows Media Player.   SHOUTcast consists of a client-server model, with each component communicating via a network protocol that blends audio data with metadata such as song titles and the station name.   It uses HTTP as a transport protocol which extends our clients’ broadcasting presence onto the web.   Understanding which methods to transmit and distribute our clients’ live webcasting events are just as important to our success as it is theirs.   Working to connect our client to their customers without any technical interruptions or downtime is extremely fulfilling.

It's a great feeling when your client tells you "Awesome, we're up and running.  Thanks."
